Dog food samples are as popular as samples produced for human consumption. As pet owners become increasingly concerned about their diets’, they have unearthed a desire to feed their pets nutritiously as well. Consumers are aware of what constitutes quality dog food and what is not. If it is poor, the quality will show in the dog food samples.

While individuals seek dog food samples that are nutritious, they also demand a dog food sample that their pet will eat without turning up their nose. Consumers do not want to purchase a five-pound bag of dog food just to learn that their beloved companion does not like the taste. To ensure that their pooch will enjoy the food, many companies are providing dog food samples of their product and dog owners are eating it up.

Most companies are so confident that pets will love their product; they will send dog food samples for free or with a small shipping and handling charge. In addition to ordering the dog food sample, consumers are able to review vital information about dog food samples, such as a description, list of ingredients, guaranteed analysis, ratings, and reviews.

The description allows owners to review the various types of dog food samples available, and subsequently, make their decision. For instance, some sites have a large variety of dog food samples including Chicken and Rice, Alaskan Salmon, Vegetable, Beef and Safflower Oil. In addition, some sites have options for various activity levels and stage of life, such as Puppy and Senior. If a company sells the product, then dog food samples of that variety is usually available.

The list of ingredients informs the consumer of what is in dog food samples. This part is probably the most vital to consumers so they can determine if the ingredients will mesh with their dogs’ needs. For instance, if the consumer wants Vegetarian or Vegan dog food samples, then ingredients such as beef, chicken by-product, or whey would signal that the dog food samples are a poor selection. On the other hand, some pet owners want a solid guarantee that their pooch will be fed a diet that consists wholly of meat and animal products. In both scenarios, the owner would check the ingredients as well as the crude analysis before requesting dog food samples.

The crude analysis of dog food samples breaks the aforementioned ingredients into percentages so the consumer can see how much their pet is receiving regarding protein, fat, fiber, carbohydrates, and moisture content. Some producers will also provide the percentages of vitamins and minerals. If carrots, peas, cranberries, and certain extracts are listed in the ingredient section of the dog food samples, it means that the food does contain vitamins and minerals. If vitamins and minerals, however, are not listed in the analysis section, a consumer can assume that the percentage is very low compared to the main ingredients in dog food samples.

Another grouping to consider when selecting dog food samples is the size of the pet. Numerous websites list ranges of dogs with their respective weights to ensure that the dog is getting the necessary amount of dog food samples. It does not make much sense to dwell on the content of the dog food samples if the dog is receiving too much or too little of the dog food samples. Another factor that affects portions is the activity levels of the dog. A highly active pooch may require larger dog food samples or a different type of dog food samples, such as Active Lifestyle. On the same token, an overweight or inactive dog may need Diet dog food samples, versus smaller dog food samples. The dog food producers want to guarantee that the animal is receiving the correct amount to be healthy and happy, and thus, the proper dog food samples.

The last category to consider when perusing dog food samples is the ratings, reviews, and comments section. This part lets customers who have already obtained the dog food samples relay their story. Most people post comments stating whether or not their dog liked the food and if they had any issues with it. If the dog has dry skin and a mangy coat before trying this food and then after sampling this food, the dog stops itching and has a beautiful, silky coat, then customers will note this information in their review of the dog food samples.

Individuals may also comment on minor details regarding dog food samples such as how excited their dog gets at feeding time or how the dog brings its bowl in its mouth and wags its tail ferociously. The owner is simply implying that the dog loves this food. Sometimes, the dog will favor the food, but the owner will rate it poorly due to negative side effects such as bad breath or loose stools. At any rate, this section is informative, but the only true way to know if a dog food is right for your pet is to get your own dog food samples.

With modern technology, requesting dog food samples is extremely easy. Requests can be made on the Internet, over the phone, and even through snail mail. It usually just requires the basic information from a pet owner, such as name, address, phone, and details of the dog. The producer will send your solicited sample and sometimes coupons, within two to four weeks of requesting the dog food samples.

As there are numerous producers of dog food samples on the market today, they are also very competitive. This statement implies that some producers will send a variety of samples to your home. You may receive a package including Beef, Chicken, and Fish flavor when you only asked for Chicken. You may even find a sample in the Sunday newspaper or in large pet retail stores. Whatever the scenario, dog food samples are in abundance and are easy to receive.

An estimated one in five adult dogs suffer from canine arthritis which is the most common source of pain treatment by veterinarians. All 320 of a dogs joints are in constant use working to cushion their bones and allow movement. As a dog ages and due to the rapid growth phase from puppy to adult, a dog will inevitably experience wear and tear on their joints with studies now showing that one third of all dogs over the age of five show signs of reduced mobility.

NEW Joint Treat Bones are unique treats to help everyday mobility packed full of high strength green-lipped mussel, salmon oil rich in omega 3, calcium for strong bones and an antioxidant herb mix including rosehip. This delicious recipe makes this treat a tasty way to administer these valuable ingredients to dogs and ensure they have the nutrients required to support their joints. Joint Treat Bones are not only nutritious but delicious too!

John Foster, veterinarian and consultant says:

In my experience most dogs will suffer some form of joint discomfort at some time. The best approach to growing and maintaining strong flexible joints is prevention. With the physical changes incurred during a dogs ageing process the need for tailored nutrition and support from an early age can pay dividends later in a dogs life. Standard pet foods often provide a range of vitamins and minerals but cannot offer the fresh premium nutrients in optimum concentrations found within Joint Treat Bones.

Formulated by our veterinary experts Joint Treat Bones contain four key ingredients:

Green-lipped mussel: the powerful New Zealand green-lipped mussel has been claimed to have many benefits providing a rich source of glycoproteins, chondroitin, amino acids, vitamins and minerals.

Salmon Oil: the all important omega 3 fatty acids found within salmon oil contain DHA and EPA traditionally used to help maintain healthy joints and a healthy heart.

Calcium: to help maintain healthy bones and teeth.

Antioxidant rich herb mix including rose hip: antioxidants are substances that reduce, neutralize, and help prevent the damage done to the body by free radicals.

About Shannon Cook:

Shannon Cook is a Southern California native who grew up in the late 60s and early 70s as a quintessential beach girl. Her creative spirit has led her to dabble in everything from cake decorating, pottery, stained glass, interior decorating and fashion design, to too many other things to mention. Most of those pursuits have gone by the wayside, but some, like cooking and photography, seem to have stuck, as has her passion for travel and the outdoors. She fuels her creativity with lots of wine, trips to exotic locales and crazy bucket list adventures. If she doesn’t have a trip in the pipeline she goes nuts, and is frankly writing this book for the sole purpose of paying for her travel addiction and the occasional splurge on shoes. To quiet her sometimes chaotic “squirrel” mind, she loves to walk on the beach with her dog, standup paddle surf, ride bikes, ski and do yoga. Shannon Cook lives in Southern California with her honey, Scott, their Cairn Terrier, Tassie, and cat, Coonie. No Weird or Fancy Stuff is her first book.

Keep Fido Afloat!

Whether spending time in or around the pool, lake or beach, keep dogs safe in floatable life jackets. Buckle Up on the Road

While hitting the road this summer, make sure pets are properly restrained to prevent driver distraction and to keep pets, passengers and other drivers safe. With dogs taking approximately five car trips per year, its crucial to keep pooches properly secure and comfortable. Check out travel products before setting out at http://www.Kurgo.com.

Prevent Travel Anxiety

The Made In America Store, known for selling 100% USA made products, will be celebrating two years of being open and is having an event to show their thanks. To commemorate the occasion, the store will be having an all-day event including Dales Rollin BBQ to cater to consumers who wish to purchase a dinner.

Dales Rollin BBQ is an independently owned catering service that cooks on site, offering chicken dinners, pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans and even hot dogs.

Dale Fleming, owner and starter of Dales Rollin BBQ, started at General Welding & Fabricating as a welder. People familiar with General Welding and Fabricating know that Mark Andol is the owner and CEO of the company, as with the Made In America Store. Mark Andol gave Dale Fleming his opportunity when he catered a few events prior to the two year Anniversary.

Dale Fleming is no stranger to success, however, as he had sold out of dinners at the Made In America Store’s last event, Winterfest 2012.

The 2 year anniversary event will host Nashville Recording Artist, Ricky Lee and he will take the stage throughout the day. The band Turbulence will also be on stage playing live. Food will be offered by Dale’s Rollin’ BBQ and a few other food vendors will be on site to offer samples. The Food Bank Run & Benefit Party will also hold their registration at the Made In America Store, where bikers can register for the Bike run and all proceeds will benefit the Western New York Food Bank. Robin Tolsma, author of the book “Everything Changed,” a novel about flight 3407, will be on site doing her first official book signing. Everything in the store will be tax free on April 28th.

The 2 year anniversary marks two full years of delivering 100% American made products and not going back on their promise of serving Americans first. The event takes place on Saturday, April 28th and runs from 10am to 4pm.

The Made In America Store is located at 900 Maple Road in Elma, New York and is committed to selling 100% American manufactured products. You can visit http://www.MadeInAmericaStore.com for more information or shop our catalog of over 290 vendors that are devoted to producing USA made products. All US military personnel both active duty and retired receive a discount every day. Consumers can also keep up to date news articles, events, photos and contests with Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and Tumblr!
